This was a Chevy dealership and my truck had under 21,000 miles and was clearly under warranty. So I asked for my keys and they guy tells me that I owe them $285 for a diagnostics fee. A service guy then came up to me and had a paper and it stated tech duplicated issue but it was normal characteristics of a 2 piece drive shaft and that transmission which is just complete BS. I took it back to them immediately they had their tech drive it he came back gave me a look like wtf is this truck doing then disappeared.

They told me to duplicate the issue and bring it back so I loaded the bed and got the truck to do it again and it was very violent. They claimed they couldn’t do anything without duplicating the problem and “would not go fishing” for an issue. I took it back in under warranty with only 20,000 miles. I suspected it was down shifting and spiking the torque converter.

Still felt them occasionally then one day I had about 900lbs in the bed and if I touched the brake at all even very lightly the whole truck would jerk and it honestly felt like someone was rear ending you.

Got a 17 2500 had started noticing hard shift and slips took it into dealer under warranty told me they didn’t find anything.
